Read Tesla Touch Up’s cancellation and refund rules for mobile Tesla paint repair across Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, and Scottsdale.
Effective Date: February 26, 2026
Last Updated: February 26, 2026
Because Tesla Touch Up provides mobile, appointment-based vehicle services, “returns” work differently than product returns. This policy explains deposits, cancellations, reschedules, refunds, and what to do if you’re not satisfied with a completed repair.
If there’s an issue with the completed repair that is related to our workmanship, we will prioritize fixing it under our Lifetime of Ownership Workmanship Guarantee:
We guarantee our workmanship for the life of the vehicle as long as you own it.
This guarantee is non-transferable and ends if the vehicle is sold, traded, or ownership changes.
In most cases, the right solution is correction—refunds are the exception (see Section 5).
Some appointments or service types may require a deposit to reserve time and travel. If a deposit is required, you will be told before booking.
Deposits are typically applied toward your final invoice unless stated otherwise.
Mobile appointments reserve travel time and materials.
Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice: no penalty in most cases.
Cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: you may be charged a cancellation fee and/or your deposit may be forfeited (if a deposit was required).
We try to be reasonable—life happens—but repeated last-minute cancellations may require a deposit for future bookings.
Because paint repair is sensitive to temperature, wind, rain, and dust, we may need to reschedule due to weather or unsafe/unsuitable service conditions.
If we reschedule due to weather or conditions outside your control, any deposit will generally be carried to the new appointment date.
Refunds for completed services are considered only when:
We determine the concern is related to our workmanship and
We cannot reasonably correct the issue after evaluation and a reasonable opportunity to fix it.
Refunds are not provided for:
New damage after service (rock chips, impacts, accidents, vandalism)
Normal limitations of cosmetic paint repair (minor variation in color match due to factory variation, sun fade, lighting, panel angle, surrounding paint condition)
Pre-existing conditions or prior repairs that affect adhesion/durability, especially if not disclosed before service
Issues caused by improper aftercare (harsh chemicals, abrasive washing, etc.)
Third-party work performed on or near the repaired area after our service
If you have a concern, contact us first so we can evaluate and correct the issue when appropriate. Filing a chargeback without giving us the chance to address a workmanship-related issue may delay resolution.
To request an evaluation under the Lifetime of Ownership Guarantee, contact Tesla Touch Up and provide:
Your name and service date (approximate is fine)
Photos of the repaired area in good lighting
A short description of the concern
We’ll respond with next steps and, when appropriate, schedule a correction.
